Energy is a precious commodity. And sometimes, we just don't have it. Our lives are busy, we're overwhelmed, and the world? * Gestures vaguely * Yeah, energy can be in short supply. Practice? You're funny. Inspiration? Nope. Am I still a dancer?
Yes. You are still a dancer through all of this. And yes, I bet you are practicing more often than you think. You just don't realize it.
Sometimes, a wiggle is just enough.
In this workshop, I'll introduce several tips, tricks, and "exercises" for times when you don't feel like you're a dancer or don't have the energy to devote to full movement or practice. We'll also do some low to mid energy free-form flow and movement exploration. This will include movement while lying and sitting on the floor and/or chairs. Please bring a notebook, and if desired, a yoga mat and maybe even a pillow. Whatever makes you comfy, including tea, coffee, etc!
